| Delegates, across the state of Florida, gathered in Tampa in October for the FEA annual meeting and to recognize a significant moment in FEA history. In 1968, Florida public school teachers resigned their jobs in an effort to bring attention to various issues that were crippling public education, including a lack of adequate funding, class size, working conditions, salaries, and a need for adequate school supplies and resources for students. |
